Cyber security consultant

We are searching for a cyber security consultant  

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw, Poland and you will join our Operational Security team. The team is part of a new established area (Infrastructure & Operational Security) and will work with a variety of 1st line of security disciplines. 

The Cyber Security Consultant offers the right candidate a unique possibility to establish, develop and anchor the role in BEC together with the rest of the team. Structure, “can-do” attitude and operational excellence are some of the keys for success. You know what good looks like and can lead the way and inspire your colleagues. 

By being a part of the Operational Security, you will play a key role for BEC’s security and structure around it. You will be a vital part of the team together with BEC internal and external stakeholders. 

At BEC, we work in a hybrid remote model, coming into the office 3 days a week and working remotely for 2 days. Your direct manager will be, Jacob Samson Schlüter who is currently acting as interim team manager. 

Primary task and responsibilities include: 

• Disaster recovery & continuity management related tasks 
• Cyber security related tasks 
• Threats and vulnerabilities management 
• Security reporting support 
• Take active part in operational security task such as Incidents 
• Travel activities to Denmark are expected 

To succeed you will have:   

• The right “can-do” attitude – and see obstacles as an inspiration for a solution. 
• Understand the importance of working in the financial sector where regulations, compliance and security is key for successful deliveries and implementations. 
• Work as a team player where success is measured in, we are succeeding as a team and enabling our colleagues across BEC. 
• Understand and outlive the role as a Cyber Security Consultant and supporting operational security across BEC. 
• Initiate and maintain a high levels of collaboration within BEC. 
• You preferable have an educational background at Master’s level Business or similar. 
• Fluent in English (written and spoken). 
• Work experience in information security or continuity management, especially IT systems recovery and/or business processes recovery. 
• Understanding of ISO standards related to information security and business continuity. 

It’s nice-to-have: 

• Experience working with the ITIL framework. 
• Professional certification in cyber security and/or business continuity.
