Cloud application engineer (Azure)

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join our Finance & ERP Solutions. The team is in charge of developing and delivering D365F&O and Azure Cloud integration solution to the banks and BEC.

The Cloud application engineer (Azure) offers long time project of the implementation D365FO for Danish banks and BEC internally, tasks related to also Logic Apps, Function App, Azure SQL, Power Apps etc. At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Oleg Sokolov.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Azure integration development (Logic App, Functional App, Service Bus etc.)

• Developing, deploying, administering services in Azure Cloud

• DevOps pipeline configuration (CI/CD), maintenance

• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, bugs and performance bottlenecks

• Contribute to release process and change management.   

To succeed you will: 

• Have at least 5 years of experience from a similar position working with IT projects.

• Have a conceptual understanding of public cloud, hybrid cloud

• Have an understanding of integration patterns between SaaS, PaaS and on-premise services

• Have an understanding differences, pros and cons of individual Azure PaaS services (compute, storage, messaging, integration, networking)

• Know and apply application development patterns

• Have an understanding of security requirements towards cloud-based systems

• Have experience in C#, at least intermediate level.

• Have experience in Logic apps, advanced level

• Have experience in Function apps, intermediate level

• Have experience in Azure DevOps CI/CD, intermediate level

• Have experience in PowerShell, intermediate level

• Have educational background as Master of IT

• Have a curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others

• Be fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Be a team player.
