Sr. Cyber Security Engineer (Infra Sec)
This role will drive the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of global endpoint security controls within Cyber Security Foundations (CSF) – Cyber Security Technologies (CST), protecting the organization’s systems and data from cyberattacks. This role focuses on strategic and tactical initiatives, including the selection and design of security controls for endpoint protection, data center security, and mobile security in a global enterprise environment, as well as securing multi-cloud endpoint environments, while developing metrics to measure coverage and effectiveness.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of global enterprise security controls for endpoint protection across workstation, data center, cloud, and mobile environments, ensuring alignment with CSF strategies and compliance with security policies to prevent unauthorized access.
- Secure cloud-based endpoint security systems in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) by identifying appropriate tools, determining deployment strategies, and managing their lifecycle to ensure robust protection.
- Implement secure infrastructure solutions for endpoint security, including configuration management and OS hardening, across all environments to enhance system resilience and mitigate risks.
- Design and measure coverage and effectiveness metrics for security controls to identify gaps and risks, producing reports for executive management and regulatory bodies in a format consumable by senior IT leadership.
- Perform regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks in endpoint security environments and assist in responding to audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Work with Cyber Security Engineers and Security Architecture teams to define engineering requirements, standardize controls, and create efficiencies that align with CSF strategies across Platforms/Squads.
- Collaborate with Security Compliance teams to develop and track regulatory and program reporting metrics, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
- Engage in Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Proof of Concept (POC) projects to evaluate tools and controls, ensuring alignment with CSF goals and strategies.
- Create and support documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Change Management procedures, and training materials; prepare briefings for management on development, maintenance, and approval processes.
- Assist in designing security engineering strategies by collaborating with squad/platform leads to support Infrastructure and Workplace teams, aligning with CSF Platforms/Squads.
- Contribute to immediate operational readiness, including training and knowledge transfer for global teams.
- Willingness to participate in on-call (remote) support activities during non-business hours.
Qualifications & Competencies (education, skills, experience):

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT) or 5+ years of equivalent IT experience.
- 5+ years in IT Security Engineering & Security Operations, or a related field, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing security controls in a global enterprise environment.
- Proven experience with endpoint protection, data center security, and/or mobile security capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience securing cloud endpoints in a multi-cloud environment, including identifying, deploying, and managing relevant tools.
- Intermediate-level knowledge of cybersecurity controls and their application in a global context.
- Solid experience designing and measuring coverage and effectiveness metrics to identify gaps and risks, with the ability to report findings to leadership.
- Strong understanding of IT policy and standard development, enforcement, and compliance with internal controls.
- Excellent communication, project management, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Strong written skills for documentation and SOP development.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change & Request Management) and tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Experience working with agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM) and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
