Sr Veeva Vault CRM Config. Specialist 

The Veeva Platform within Bayer’s IT Technology and Engineering function enables our Business Functions to gain competitive advantage through advanced process and data integration and ultimately helps patients through Bayer's products.

Our contribution is the provisioning and maintenance of state-of-the-art IT platforms and architecture based on deep business process and technology knowledge. To reach our objectives we collaborate with our colleagues in the Commercial (incl. Medical Affairs) and R&D (Research & Development) domains of Clinical Development & Operations, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management in continuously improving and transforming our solution portfolio.

We are looking for a Senior Veeva CRM Configuration Specialist to support our team. The main tasks of the position include:

• Contribution to building the CRM Product roadmap and long-term strategy by providing expert knowledge on the product and how it can bring value to Bayer teams.

• Assisting Process Owners and Business Analysts in requirements elicitation and finding the right technical solution to fit their needs.

• Maintaining the full picture of the delivery (business, platform and additional releases) to be able to flag dependencies and to make sure the best possible value is delivered.

• Taking care of configuring our Vault CRM (incl. Align) application based on business requirements by adjusting, for example, objects, workflows, reports and X‑Pages.

• Contributing to automation, integration and AI projects related to Vault CRM as a technical vault expert.

• Close collaboration with international stakeholders within the Bayer Veeva Enablement Platform, Business functions and Veeva.

• Gaining understanding about the business processes related to the assigned Vault CRM area.

WHO YOU ARE

• University degree in science or information technology.

• Proven Veeva Vault Platform expertise, having at least the Vault Platform Associate Administrator credential within the last 3 years (initial or annual exam).

• Significant working experience with Veeva CRM and preferably also Vault CRM.

• You are a Certified Vault/Veeva CRM Administrator.

• Experience with modern web technologies (REST APIs, Java, JavaScript, and SQL).

• Knowledge in Pharmaceutical business processes.

• Strong communication, presentation and decision‑making skills distinguish you.

• You have a passion to experiment and transfer innovative ideas into real solutions.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
