Senior Solution Architect
A Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and innovative IT solutions that meet the business requirements and align with the company’s strategic objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of technology stacks, architectural principles, and business processes, ensuring that solutions are efficient, secure, and sustainable.
The Senior Solution Architect (Service & Workflows) will serve as a key expert in ServiceNow architecture, specializing in HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Procurement, and/or Creator Apps. This role is crucial for driving innovation and ensuring high-quality deliverables within the organization’s Service Now solutions. By leveraging deep technical knowledge and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the architect will enhance service workflows and streamline service delivery, ultimately improving user experience and aligning digital solutions with business objectives.
The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for defining and implementing architectural solutions within the ServiceNow platform, focusing on HRSD, Procurement, and Creator Apps. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of technology trends, user experience design, and agile methodologies to drive successful project outcomes and contribute to the organization’s global IT strategy.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Serve as an expert in ServiceNow architecture, specifically in HRSD, Procurement, and/or Creator Apps, ensuring best practices and optimal implementation.
- Design and architect scalable solutions for service workflows, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technology standards.
- Actively participate as a member of the architecture board to ensure high-quality deliverables and approve developments.
- Develop architectural documentation, including design specifications, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to demonstrate the feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, security, and data privacy throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams during implementation.
- Monitor and assess the performance of implemented solutions, making recommendations for improvements.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote understanding of architectural principles and practices within the organization.
- Actively participate in global IT chapters and communities to share knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications & Competencies (education, skills, experience):
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Proven experience as Developer with the ServiceNow platform, specifically HRSD, Procurement and Creator Apps
- Experience with IT solution space for Service Management (e.g., ICT integration) and Process Automation
- Fluency in best practices for architecture and design of IT products.
- Strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with Ideation and Story Boarding techniques for UX (User Experience) design methodologies
- Communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
- Hands-on project experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs in a larger implementation context
- Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environments.
- Knowledge about Software Development Lifecycle.
- Good Verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong conceptual, quantitative, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work successfully with people from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds.
