You will be responsible for:
- Show an advanced understanding of cloud technologies, cloud platform operations and cloud governance with a focus on automation, analysis, modification and testing of cloud services
- Design, build, implement and maintain cloud automation in order to optimize cloud spend, identify and remediate security risks and safeguard compliance across cloud platforms
- Identifies, verifies and remediates inconsistent cloud configurations
- Implement proactive health checks and internal audits to ensure comprehensive and reliable monitoring coverage
- Construct, improve and maintain automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
- Usage of source code management tool (e.g. GitHub) to manage code lifecycle
- Perform troubleshooting, resolution, and problem analysis
- Prepare technical documentation, including software design evaluation plans, test results and technical manuals
- Seek opportunities to discover new and better solutions.
- Communicates basic cloud concepts to technical audiences and management; technical issues and problems to vendors to solve cloud problems and install and test cloud component
- Identify and pursue opportunities for self-improvement of technical and non-technical skills
- Take the initiative to do what needs to be done without being asked
- Articulate and advocate new cloud technical and non-technical ideas within the team
We would expect from you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience as a software engineer
- Minimum 2 years of experience in AWS (GCP, Azure will be a plus)
- Strong proficiency in one or more coding languages (e.g. Python, GoLang, Javascript)
- Ability to use scripting languages and APIs to facilitate cloud automation
- Experience with “Well-Architected Framework” principals, infrastructure as code practices (e.g. Terraform, Cloudformation) and agile development methodologies
- Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles and practices.
- Inter-cultural understanding and experience
- Containerization and container runtime orchestrators: using e.g. Kubernetes
- Strong communication, problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
