Role Overview:
We are seeking a Mid/Senior Data Engineer to join our platform-focused team, driving the development and evolution of our CRM and data platform landscape. You will work within a platform and enablement unit supporting multiple business areas, with a key focus on transitioning from a legacy CRM system to a Salesforce-based solution. The role is hands-on and involves designing data products, setting up platform infrastructure, and scaling the platform landscape using modern data engineering practices and cloud-native technologies. You'll collaborate across two Scrum teams, contributing to both strategic initiatives and continuous platform improvements.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain reliable data pipelines using Python, SQL, and modern ETL frameworks

• Support the transition from legacy CRM systems to Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration

• Develop and extend data products and platform capabilities using modern data platform concepts such as Data Mesh, cloud object storage, and open table formats

• Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes on AWS

• Work with Kafka for streaming data and event-driven architectures

• Optimize distributed processing workflows and ensure scalability across the platform landscape

• Collaborate with business areas and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions

• Perform system-level problem-solving and continuous platform improvements

 
Must-Have Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for ETL development, data processing, and automation

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable data pipelines in enterprise environments

• Experience with Data Mesh concepts, cloud object storage, open table formats, and distributed processing

• Knowledge of Kafka for event streaming and data integration

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with system-level thinking

• Understanding of cloud technology lifecycle and best practices

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

• Enterprise-level data engineering experience

 
Nice to Have:

• Experience with Oracle or Sybase data warehouses

• Familiarity with Salesforce implementation or migration projects
