What you can expect 

As Service Owner (Storage&Backup) for the storage (Pure, NetApp) and backup (Dell Networker, Cohesity) services with focus on the new backup solution (Cohesity), you play a decisive role in the management of our service provider, the further development of our services and the establishment and improvement of processes. You will work closely with various internal and external teams to ensure and continuously improve the availability and quality of our services.


Your qualifications: 

  • University degree in computer science or comparable professional experience. 
  • Experience with NetApp and Pure storage systems.  
  • Experience with the backup systems TSMVeeamDell NetworkerCohesity
  • Experience in service management in an enterprise environment 
  • Strong skills in data analysis, preparation and visualization. 
  • Several years of experience as a Service Owner / Product Owner or in a comparable role in the IT infrastructure environment (engineering, architecture).
  • Experience with the operation of storage and backup systems. 
  • Very good knowledge of German and English


Your tasks: 

  • Control and monitor the performance of our service provider with your technical know how in the areas of storage & backup and your experience in service management.
  • Develop, implement and monitor quality metrics for quality assurance. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and adaptation to changing requirements of the storage and backup service. 
  • Carry out data analyses and create or review reports. 
  • Establish and optimize processes to increase efficiency. 
  • Bring in new ideas for the further development of the team and the organization, thus promoting a strong team spirit.
