About the Role

Are you ready to kick-start your career in a high-tech, collaborative environment where real impact meets real scale? We’re looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Coiote IoT Device Management team.

You will contribute to the development of backend services and system automations that power AVSystem’s IoT products used by electricity and water distribution companies and device manufacturers worldwide. Expect hands-on experience with modern tooling like Kubernetes, automation pipelines, and scalable microservices.

As part of the Coiote IoT DM Engineering Team, you’ll work closely with Backend Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and QA Engineers. This role offers a natural growth path toward a Software Engineer position within the same or adjacent teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and scale service infrastructure to support rapid feature development and efficient operations

  • Automate deployment processes to improve consistency, reduce manual work, and enhance system reliability

  • Implement new features and refine existing ones for the Coiote IoT DM

  • Reduce technical debt and lower maintenance overhead by contributing to internal tools and automation

Requirements

  • Basic programming experience in Java/Scala

  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems

  • Basic understanding of how computer networks work

  • Interest in cloud-native tools like Kubernetes

  • Have an engineering approach to problem-solving

Why work with us?

  • Contribute to production-grade projects used by global IoT leaders

  • Learn from experienced engineers in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment

  • Join a friendly team with open communication and strong team spirit

  • Some usual stuff:

    • Kitchen full of snacks and treats (including Good Lood ice cream),

    • Car parking area and bike room,

    • Multisport card,

    • Relaxed work atmosphere – no dress code, no open space
