Test Automation Engineer (Java)

For our Client from banking industry we are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer with Java programming skills.

Your key responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing automated test scripts for performance checks
• Analyzing defects and updating scripts
• Review and comment requirements and technical designs from a test perspective
• Work actively with the entire agile scrum team to secure high quality of the delivery
• Gathering and managing test data; understand test data dependencies for a given context
• Report, debug and verify defects
• Recommending appropriate actions for test results
• Daily impediments resolution and communication, risk mitigation
• Improve and extend the existing framework solution where possible.

Description of knowledge and experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience in any of following domains: GUI based (Web), service-based level (REST)
• Coding skills in Java
• Strong experience with jMeter
• Knowledge and experience in Non-functional testing
• Knowledge and experience in solutions supporting test automation (Maven, Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured, Postman, Chrome devtools)
• Fluent in using GIT
• Experience in working with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins/Bamboo)
• Basic experience with SQL queries preparation
• Skills with data manipulation using various data formats (e.g. XML, CSV, JSON) would be an additional asset
• Experience in implementing behavior driven development approach and familiar with Gherkin
• Knowledge of Non-Functional Tests and hands on experience with jMeter
• General testing knowledge to the level of ISTQB Foundation Level.
