Network Administrator

Your responsibilities:

• Automation and optimization of Cisco Catalyst/Nexus Switches and Palo Alto firewalls (firmware/security patching, device configuration, policy management)
• Further development of the Global Protect Client VPN infrastructure, implementation of security-relevant requirements to secure the company network
• Implementation of IPSec VPNs or leased lines for external connections to remote sites or public cloud environments
• Monitoring of the network infrastructure with Checkmk, Grafana, Kibana
• Network traffic analysis incl. reporting and troubleshooting for productive operation issues
• Working on defined project tasks and coordination with the stakeholders and partners by telephone and our ITIL-based ticket systems

Your Profile:

• Completed training or studies in the field of computer science
• Several years of experience in the information technology sector with very good knowledge of current network technologies
• Familiar with network automation and development of special interfaces (APIs) to create a central automatic database of our assets and networks (Checkmk, Netbox, Jira, Cisco DCNM/DNA)
• Experience with ITIL process (Incident/Problem/Change Management) and collaboration tools (M365, JIRA, Wiki)
• Strong communication skills and high appreciation for collaborative teamwork
• Openness for on call duty
• Very good English skills
