Data Engineer (Senior)

• 100% remote work permitted – required to visit the Wrocław office approximately once every 10 weeks (for planning purposes).

Business context:

VCE Sales & Finance Analytics team is looking for Data Engineer. We process financial and sales data to provide data products to our customers around the World. Our mission is to expose value of data and support client to become fully operational data driven company.

What we are doing?

1. We build common data platform. One of the main goals is to migrate and re-design solutions from On-premises platform to the cloud in Azure.
2. We provide interactive reports for customers to help them achieve their goals. 
3. We focus a lot on data ingestion & replication to our common and shared platform in cloud.
4. We aim to standardize our tools and reporting layer, so that we re-build current BI solutions from i.e SAP platform to Azure.
5. We develop data pipelines between vary applications i.e., Azure, SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, MS Dynamics 365.

Competences and skills required:

• Databricks (workflows, notebooks, Python, Spark)
• Advanced SQL
• DevOps - pipelines, repos
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure key vault, 
• Event hub, 
• IoT hub, 
• Power BI to process data in streaming mode
