DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

You will join an enterprise transformation initiative focused on modernizing internal business systems. The infrastructure is already in place and running in production. Your role will be to work collaboratively within the DevOps team to maintain, optimize, and expand this existing platform.

TASKS:

• Collaborate with the existing DevOps team to maintain and enhance the current infrastructure.

• Support the development teams by ensuring smooth CI/CD processes and robust deployment pipelines.

• Extend and manage Kubernetes clusters on the Kubermatic platform.

• Manage Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments.

• Operate and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines and ArgoCD for GitOps-based deployments.

• Monitor system health using tools such as Grafana, OpenSearch, and related observability stacks.

• Manage and support critical systems like PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and OpenSearch.

• Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security across environments.

• Contribute to improving internal DevOps processes and documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.

• Solid experience with Helm and deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters.

• Proven experience working with Kubermatic or similar Kubernetes management platforms.

• Strong hands-on experience with ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD, and GitOps workflows.

• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Scripting skills in Shell or Python.

• Practical experience with on-premise environments (MUST).

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, OpenSearch, and Grafana.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).

• Good understanding of security practices in DevOps environments.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a virtual, distributed team.

• Fluent in English.

INFORMATION REGARDING SALARY:

It will be payed on a hourly base (range is between 40,00 - 50,00 €).
