About the Role:

We’re looking for a Team Lead Manual QA Engineer (Web) to gather, lead, and grow our team of Manual QA Engineers. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping our QA culture, driving quality across web application, and ensuring high standards through hands-on testing and strategic oversight. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and automation engineers to define test strategies, identify risks, and deliver high-quality releases. Day to Day:

·       Lead and mentor a team of Manual QA Engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement

·       Actively participate in team creation and the search for QA specialists

·       Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications

·       Perform thorough manual testing (functional, regression, usability, exploratory) across various browsers and devices

·       Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to define testing scope, strategy, and deliver high-quality releases

·       Collaborate with the AQA team in determining automation scope and test cases preparation

·       Analyze requirements, identify potential risks, and provide constructive feedback during the software development lifecycle

·       Oversee the reporting, tracking, and verification of defects, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication

·       Contribute to defining and upholding QA best practices, processes, and standards within the team

·       Participate in release planning and ensure readiness for production deployments


What you bring to the table:

·       Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in Quality Assurance for web applications

·       At least 3 years of experience in a Lead or Senior Manual QA role, with proven leadership skills

·       Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes

·       Extensive experience in creating detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases

·       Proven hands-on experience with various types of manual testing, including functional, regression, cross-browser, accessibility and usability testing

·       Proficiency in using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira) and test management tools (TestRail)

·       Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and understanding of client-server architecture

·       Ability to analyze and interpret complex requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios

·       Exceptional leadership and team-building skills

·       Dedicated to delivering high-quality software and improving processes

·       Upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English


It would be great if you also had:

·       Experience with Playwright framework

·       Basic understanding of SQL queries

·       Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

·       Experience working with remote teams
