About the Role:
We’re hiring a Manual QA Engineer (Web) to support the quality assurance of our web applications. In this role, you’ll execute manual test cases, perform cross-browser and functional testing, and collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality releases. You’ll also contribute feedback during requirement reviews and continuously apply QA best practices within the team.
Day to Day:
Execute detailed manual test cases and test plans for web applications, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, UAT, and accessibility testing, across different browsers and devices.
Accurately identify, document, and track defects with clear, concise, and reproducible steps using designated bug tracking systems.
Collaborate effectively with developers to reproduce and clarify issues, and verify bug fixes.
Actively participate in reviewing product requirements, providing feedback from a testing perspective.
Continuously learn and apply QA best practices and methodologies within the team.
Provide regular updates on testing progress and defect status.
What you bring to the table:
Minimum 1-3 years of commercial experience as a Manual QA Engineer, specifically with web applications.
Solid understanding of core software testing principles and methodologies.
Proven hands-on experience in executing test cases and conducting various types of manual testing.
Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management systems.
Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how web applications work.
Ability to understand requirements and effectively translate them into testable scenarios.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Intermediate level of spoken and written English.
It would be great if you also had:
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Familiarity with API testing concepts (e.g., understanding HTTP requests/responses).
Exposure to automation testing concepts or tools.
Experience testing on mobile web browsers.
