About the project:

Java Developer to participate in the Everest project - long-term cooperation.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Co-creating and programming in the Everest system (Guidewire Policy Center)

• Participating in developing solution concepts for business initiatives

• Maintaining and updating the IT systems technical documentation repository

• Ensuring the quality of developed software and compliance with standards

• Ensuring the quality of manufactured products, supporting acceptance testing and solution implementation

• Participating in planning subsequent releases and iterations within the Agile team

• Participating in/leading team reviews and retrospectives within iterations and releases

• Designing solutions implemented within the Agile team

• Implementing solutions adopted for implementation by the team

• Supporting the stabilisation and maintenance of implemented solutions

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, deployment automation, Docker)

• Ability to implement REST and SOAP-based integration

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java developer

• Willingness to work in a mature Scrum team, experiment with new technologies, and work in a DevOps spirit

• Knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks

• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, with particular emphasis on Oracle/PostgreSQL

• Knowledge of multithreaded programming

• Knowledge of Gradle or Maven software build automation tools

• Knowledge of OOP principles and multithreaded programming

• Developer-level knowledge of Linux

• JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, Angular, NgRx

• Service provision from Poland

It would be great if you also have:

• Experience in the insurance industry

• Experience using AI development tools such as Github Copilot

• Knowledge of TDD and BDD approaches

• Kafka

• Experience programming in GOSU

Salary: We offer up to PLN 1,100-1,200/PLN net day B2B or contract of employment, up to PLN 16,000 gross/month.

Location and work model: Hybrid work - Warsaw - 1 day at the client's office in the week.
