Software Engineer

Join our Warsaw technology hub to build and own high-performance, low-latency systems using JVM languages or Erlang. You’ll tackle real-time big data challenges and build modern frontends, scaling services that power mobile discovery for millions worldwide. At Digital Turbine, we are committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. The salary range for this position is 160,500 - 214,000 PLN gross/year.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with a small team of engineers on a daily basis

• Develop, design, participate in code reviews, and ensure overall quality

• Leverage and implement industry best practices to maximize software development performance, efficiency, and quality

• Collaborate with other teams as needed (design, backend engineering, devops, product mgmt, QA) for maximum effectiveness

• Provide application support as needed 

Requirements

• 2-3 years of software development experience

• Excellent knowledge of the Java software programming language

• Working knowledge of Java related build tools such as Maven or other related tools

• Experience working on microservice architectures

• Experience designing and working with backend RESTful APIs

• Experience working with different data formats such as JSON

• Working knowledge of modern day cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or GCP)

• Solid understanding of software development best practices, methodologies, and previous work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

• Knowledge of unit testing and best testing practices using JUnit or other testing frameworks

• Experience working in agile engineering environments (e.g., Scrum)

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with Postgres, DynamoDB or other RDBMS and NoSQL data stores

• Knowledge of developing and working with serverless concepts and stacks

• Experience with Kubernetes or other container services

• Experience working with Ad Tech
