JOB SPECIFICATION
Role: Frontend Developer
Role: Frontend Developer
100% remote; Part-time ½ FTE or Full time
Industry: biopharmaceutical
Project: The components of the project rely primarily on the R technology, as the brain behind the automation lies in a series of self-developed R packages. At this point of the project, we would like to enhance usability by transforming the current R Shiny User Interface into a more elaborate one, using ReactJS. This new interface will be driven by a number of API calls to partners' systems.
Skills Required:
- 3 years minimum professional experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience using the React JavaScript Library to develop User Interfaces components.
- Experience or understanding of API development and how to integrate API calls into UI development.
- Ability to work and communicate in English (C1)
- Experience working in SCRUM is a plus.
- Backend skills (especially in Java) is a plus.
- Familiarity with R and/or R Shiny is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with UX Designer to determine the structure and design of each page of the application
- Develop features based on user requirements, striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
- Utilize a variety of markup languages to write web pages
- Maintain brand consistency throughout the design.
