We are looking for an API Tester who, reporting to the QA Manager/Lead, Quality Engineer (API), will assist one or more teams in developing high quality products for customers. The main focus will be on designing and developing test artefacts that can be reused to test APIs.

What you will do
- Collaborating with Business Analysts and Development teams to define Acceptance Criteria
- Actively participate in all phases of software development lifecycles
- Analysing requirements, plans, prepare test cases and test scenarios
- Executing manual tests
- Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues
- Actively participate in sharing knowledge and building the Client delivery community
- Implementing testing techniques and strategies
- Continuously striving to improve individually and as part of a team
- Effective utilisation of toolsets designed to support API testing.
We're looking for you if you have
- Experience in selecting appropriate test data, identifying and querying specific business rules/logic
- Good API understanding, knowledge of components of an API and HTTP methods
- Basic understanding of JS
- Experience in using tools like Postman, RESTAssured and Swagger
- Ability to create test cases and collections that exercise the requirements and business rules
- Precision and good organization of work
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to identify or derive expected behavior based on a specification and collaboration with team members and stakeholders
- Fluent English
