End User Computing Specialist

How you will make an impact 

As an End User Computing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization's application and desktop environments run seamlessly and efficiently. This position involves collaborating closely with fellow IT professionals and end users to deliver, manage, and enhance both traditional and virtual desktop solutions. You will be responsible for supporting and implementing initiatives related to Windows desktop management, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving the adoption of modern, sustainable solutions. In addition, you will help align technical strategies with business goals, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user satisfaction across the company's computing landscape. 

• Develop, administer, and implement initiatives in the Windows desktop area, including application deployment and update management. 

• Collaborate with IT architects and Service Owners to ensure solutions align with organizational strategies and technology roadmaps. 

• Provide high-level technical support and drive the quality of delivered desktop and application solutions for both business and IT stakeholders. 

• Assist in identifying risks, remediating gaps, and ensuring a modern, secure, and sustainable environment for end users. 

• Prepare technical documentation and share best practices with team members, supporting continuous improvement of Windows and application management processes. 

What will make you successful 

• Minimum of three years of practical experience in IT support or application management roles. 

• At least one year of experience managing application deployment, updates, and configuration using modern management platforms. 

• Proficiency in administering Windows 10/11 environments, with hands-on experience in application lifecycle management tools. 

• Relevant certifications in application management, desktop administration, or related technologies are an advantage. 

• Advanced scripting abilities to automate application deployment and routine management tasks. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions for diverse and complex business requirements.
