How you will make an impact

In this role, you will be at the heart of maintaining, supporting, and deploying Arla's cloud-based analytics platform. Collaborate with a team dedicated to ensuring seamless operations, while also mentoring junior members and enhancing our processes. Your insights will be crucial in refining our support offerings and elevating our technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the operationalization of developments by addressing needs early in the DevOps cycle.
• Gain, store, and retain knowledge to enhance team understanding and future operations.
• Serve as the IT team's go-to expert.
• Offer constructive feedback and propose process improvements.
• Mentor junior team members to advance their technical skills.
• Engage in continuous learning to drive Arla's progress.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to support Arla's Analytics Platform.
• Utilize Azure PaaS tools, SQL, and Python for analytics support in a Spark-based environment.
• Contribute to the operational stability of Arla's Analytics Platform architecture.
• Review and approve code contributions, providing necessary technical feedback.
• Minimize service interruptions.
• Contribute to DevOps pipeline automation.
• Innovate and develop new ways of monitoring and providing insights to our platform and solutions built on top.
• Step in as SRE chapter lead as required to ensure shared ways of working.

Furthermore, you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with cloud services in Microsoft Azure.
• Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Databricks/Spark, and other related services is essential.
• Proficiency with Python, ARM, and SQL would be a major advantage.
• Experience with ServiceNow is also an advantage.
