Ruby on Rails Developer

Responsibilities:

• developing robust backend systems using Ruby on Rails,
• leading a team of engineers in building and maintaining scalable software solutions for an AI platform serving major global retail companies,
• implementing best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment,
• collaborating with product managers and stakeholders in defining project requirements and timelines,
• contributing extensive experience in Ruby on Rails and frontend frameworks within Agile environments.

Requirements:

• demonstrated proficiency in Ruby frameworks such as Rails, Hanami, Sinatra, and RSpec,
• applying solid knowledge of Javascript libraries and frameworks including ReactJS, NodeJS, and AngularJS,
• working with databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as search engines such as ElasticSearch and Sphinx,
• utilizing additional tools including Git, AWS, UNIX, Redis, and RabbitMQ,
• showcasing proven mentoring skills and effective collaboration in both individual and team settings,
• understanding OOP concepts, design patterns, and agile methodologies including Kanban and Scrum.
