Lead/Senior QA Automation Engineer (Tech SaaS product)

aqua cloud is looking for a Lead/Senior QA Engineer to manage the testing of our tech SaaS application and company website. You will lead a team of two manual QA specialists and one automation QA specialist, ensuring efficient test planning, execution, and delivery within two-week sprints.

What you will do:

• Oversee manual and automated testing for the SaaS platform and website.
• Adjust and improve automation test coverage.
• Plan and execute test strategies, ensuring critical functionality is covered.
• Manage the QA team, assign tasks, and ensure sprint deadlines are met.
• Ensure website cross-browser, mobile, and UI/UX testing is thorough.
• Work with developers and the product team to track and resolve defects.
• Improve QA processes for efficiency and test coverage.

Backend: .NET, C#, ASP.NET (Core)

Frontend: Vue.js, Typescript, DevExpress components

Infrastructure: Azure, VMs (Linux, Windows), Kubernetes

QA: manual, automation (TypeScript, Gherkin), penetration, performance tests

CI/CD: GitHub actions, Terraform, Ansible

Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL

Team size:

Tech Lead + 10 devs + 3 QAs + DevOps + UI/UX + PM & PO

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a QA Lead or a Senior QA Engineer in an Agile environment.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber etc.).
• Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• An open-minded approach to problem-solving and innovation.
• A proactive attitude towards personal and team skill development.
• Strong commitment to enhancing and evolving testing strategies for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SaaS and website testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and performance testing.
• Location outside Ukraine is highly desirable
