At Antal, we connect top tech talent with exceptional career opportunities. For our Client – a global leader in financial technology – we are currently looking for an experienced Test Lead to join a high-impact data transformation project.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening operational resilience in the UK market. The program focuses on retiring a legacy system and migrating existing campaigns and processes into modern solutions by the end of 2025.

As a Test Lead, you will

• Lead and coordinate distributed testing teams, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality delivery.

• Define test strategies, oversee planning, execution, automation, and closure of testing activities.

• Work closely with PMs, BAs and Developers to align testing with business and technical requirements.

• Track progress, document results, manage defects, and escalate risks when needed.

• Promote best practices in testing, encourage automation, and support continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

• Strong background in coordinating and leading testing teams.

• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g. Quality Center, Jira).

• Proven expertise in data validation, ETL/ELT testing and data migration QA.

• Good understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Experience in IT and/or financial services environments.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

• Solid organizational and decision-making skills with a pragmatic, risk-aware approach.

• High levels of resilience, self-motivation and team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of software design, Python and GCP.

• Experience in automated testing in Agile/DevOps environments.

• Knowledge of Unix and Oracle environments.

• Practical SQL skills.

• ISTQB certification.
