As a key member of our Client's team, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between regulatory requirements and technological implementation. Your main focus will be on transforming legal and organizational policies into policy-as-code scripts, ensuring our data entitlement and access control mechanisms are not only robust but also compliant with industry standards.
Daily duties will involve:
- Interpreting complex legal, regulatory, and organizational policies and translating them into executable policies using Rego or other advanced policy-as-code frameworks.
- Collaborating with legal, compliance, and IT teams to implement accurate and effective data access and entitlement policies.
- Developing and maintaining policy-as-code scripts to enforce data governance and security protocols across various platforms.
- Monitoring and updating policies to stay aligned with regulatory changes.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in policy management, compliance, or data governance, ideally within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven expertise with policy-as-code frameworks, especially Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Rego.
- Proficiency in writing and testing policies.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the banking sector, including GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX, and more.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, and Alibaba Cloud, and their security models.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating policy checks into deployment pipelines.
- Solid grasp of data security practices, including encryption, masking, and access control.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
