About the Role

A Solution Architect is a skilled IT professional responsible for designing, implementing, and managing solutions utilizing Open Banking APIs and industry standards. This role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance, developing innovative financial products and services, and maintaining a competitive edge in a dynamic landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect Open Banking solutions: Transform business requirements into secure, scalable, and efficient Open Banking architectures, considering privacy, security, and regulatory standards.
• Integrate Open Banking APIs with internal systems: Design new solutions or enhance existing ones in line with organizational security standards for API integration.
• Develop and implement AWS cloud solutions: Design distributed systems and applications on AWS to meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Document solution blueprints: Prepare detailed documentation outlining the architecture and components of cloud solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend AWS services: Assess existing AWS cloud infrastructure and propose solutions for migration or modernization where necessary.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with developers, engineers, business analysts, and other teams to ensure solutions align with their needs.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions on AWS.
• Proficiency in API design, implementation, and system integration using APIs.
• Experience with industry-standard integration frameworks and design patterns.
• Understanding of networking, security, and storage concepts, REST APIs, TLS, and OAuth.
• Expertise across technical domains, including microservices architecture, workflow management systems, and telemetry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, a methodical approach, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience defining transition plans and roadmaps for IT systems.
• Significant experience in designing and building distributed, containerized platforms.
• Knowledge of NoSQL and relational databases.
