Title: Senior Valuation Controller

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the XVA Valuations team, with a focus on Fair Value Adjustments (FVA) and Prudent Valuation Adjustments (PVA).

• Support Independent Price Verification (IPV) and FVA process transformation to ensure compliance with Basel 3.1 (SACVA).

• Conduct thorough reviews of existing valuation methodologies, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.

• Propose and implement design changes to the valuation control framework.

• Collaborate with the Product Control Valuations department on valuation governance and process enhancements.

• Provide business-as-usual (BAU) support to the valuation control team, ensuring accuracy and consistency of valuation processes.

• Engage with stakeholders across Global Product Control to align on methodologies, reporting, and risk management.

Requirements:

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Strong knowledge of valuation processes, including IPV, FVA, PVA, and Fair Value Hierarchy (FVH).

• Proven expertise in valuation control within Product Control, Risk, or Finance functions, ideally with XVA exposure.

• Familiarity with Basel 3.1 (SACVA) regulations and their impact on valuation frameworks.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review, challenge, and redesign complex methodologies.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across global teams.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling both project-based work and BAU processes.
