We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect to support critical digital transformation initiatives for a global leader in maritime transport. You’ll be part of a high-impact IT Competence Center, working across several domains with a strong focus on data-driven architectures, integration, and modern platforms.

This is a role for a hands-on architect who can connect business needs with scalable, future-proof technology solutions.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and challenge business requirements, lead discussions with stakeholders, and translate functional needs into robust technical solutions.

• Design and document Technical Architecture Designs (TAD), justify design decisions, and present them to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ensure a consistent and resilient architecture aligned with enterprise standards and long-term IT strategy.

• Act as a generalist across various technologies and business applications.

• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth implementation of architectural designs.

• Promote best practices, tools, and methodologies within the organization.

• Participate in architecture governance and ensure the quality of technical deliverables.

✅ Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in solution architecture.

• Strong background in data integration and data processing.

• Experience with modern data technologies such as Snowflake and Qlik Sense.

• Familiarity with Data Lake High-Level Design – medallion architecture (Gold/Silver/Bronze layers).

• Solid understanding of orchestration tools, APIs, ESBs, and complex application flows.

• Basic knowledge of BPM and RPA environments.

• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and translate their needs into scalable solutions.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

⭐ Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Knowledge of API management tools (e.g., Kong, Apigee, Mulesoft) and frameworks like SpringBoot, Apache Camel.

• Experience with event-driven systems: Kafka, Flink, Solace, Pulsar.

• Familiarity with collaboration and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucid App.

• Willingness to travel to Marseille (1–2 times per year).
