Senior PMO / Governance Expert

We are looking for an experienced Senior PMO / Governance Expert to support Programme and Project Managers in ensuring effective programme-level governance and delivery of key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide programme-level governance support to Programme and Project Managers

• Develop, edit, and enhance management and status presentations

• Review and edit meeting minutes, including Zoom AI–generated notes

• Proactively manage Jira boards, ensuring accurate tracking of milestones, risks, and dependencies

• Interpret L1 milestone guidance and translate it into clear, actionable plans

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to develop robust milestone definitions and business benefit statements

• Ensure clear, consistent communication and high-quality reporting across the programme

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in a senior PMO and/or governance role at programme level

• Strong understanding of programme and project management practices

• Hands-on experience with Jira and project tracking tools

• Excellent presentation development and editing skills

• Exceptional communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work proactively and independently in a complex environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in international or matrix organisations

• Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, SAFe, PRINCE2, etc.)

• Experience using AI-enabled tools to support project delivery
