Lead Automation Test Engineer (Cybersecruity)

Contract type: B2B
Work mode: Hybrid – 6 days per month from the office (Kraków preferred, or Warsaw)

The Role:
We are looking for a Lead Automation Test Engineer to drive automation testing excellence across web, database, and cloud applications. You will lead a talented team of testers, develop robust automation frameworks, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high-quality, secure delivery.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, mentor, and manage automation engineers.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks (UI, API, database).
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Perform cloud testing across AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba environments.
• Collaborate with business and technical leads to define test plans, scenarios, and coverage.
• Identify process improvements and introduce innovative automation solutions.
• Ensure traceability, defect tracking, and high-quality reporting.
• Contribute to performance testing standards, governance, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years in automation testing with Java, SQL, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriverIO, Cucumber, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and cloud testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with IAM platforms, APIs (REST/SCIM), LDAP, OIDC, and graph databases.
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Leadership and mentoring experience with strong communication skills.
• Positive, collaborative, and self-driven mindset.

Bonus Skills:

• SailPoint IdentityIQ, ServiceNow, Active Directory, SaaS testing, Pub/Sub, MQ.
• Programming in Python, PHP, .NET, Go, MySQL/SQL Server.
• BDD/TDD, Postman, Insomnia, TestRail, QMetry.
