Hardware Development Leader
Location: Kraków (hybrid)
Client’s profile: A worldwide leader in providing cutting-edge and sustainable mobility solutions for the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define milestones for electronics hardware development, incorporating input from program management, system leaders, and electronics hardware and mechanical teams.
- Establish hardware release scope by evaluating requirements, change requests, and feasibility, while ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Collaborate with system and software development leaders to synchronize hardware, system, and software development cycles.
- Set delivery expectations for electronics hardware, working closely with hardware architects, design engineers, and mechanical engineers.
- Track and monitor the progress of hardware deliverables and testing.
- Communicate expectations from the hardware team to other departments and track their fulfillment.
- Assess and report potential delays and risks affecting product development timelines.
- Serve as the main point of contact for electronics hardware development timing, representing progress internally and to customers.
- Coordinate with prototype lines and production teams to ensure timely delivery of prototypes and required documentation.
- Monitor and communicate project resource requirements to ensure smooth project execution.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive electronics hardware development.
- 2+ years of experience in leading project teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and active listening skills.
- Solid knowledge of hardware embedded systems and mechanical constraints.
- Proficient in engaging with both customers and engineering leadership.
- Fluency in English is essential.
