FX eCommerce / Quantitative Developer (Java, FX Forward Pricing)

Location: Warsaw (Hybrid, 2 days in office)Area: Finance / Investment Banking

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced FX eCommerce / Quantitative Developer to join our team, supporting the development of FX forward and NDF pricing systems. The successful candidate will work closely with traders, quants, and technical teams to deliver fast and accurate pricing solutions for FX trading across eCommerce channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FX forward pricing systems, integrating market and broker data.

• Build pricing control features and support traders in pricing and trading workflows.

• Design and implement infrastructure for on-demand quoting and curve crossing in eCommerce systems.

• Integrate new pricing models and market data feeds.

• Collaborate with IT teams and external consultants on project delivery and technical design.

• Test solutions thoroughly and participate in system support rotations (intra-day and overnight).

Requirements

Technical:

• Strong Java server-side development experience, including multi-threaded programming.

• Experience in global, distributed systems in a 24x5.5 trading environment.

• Experience building FX or eRates pricing systems for eCommerce – advantageous.

• Knowledge of KDB/Q or Python is a plus.

• Familiarity with design patterns, CI/CD, automated unit and integration testing.

Business Knowledge:

• Understanding of trading desk operations in large investment banks.

• Knowledge of FX markets, including spot and forward conventions.

• Experience working in Agile environments with both quantitative and business requirements.
