Location: Hybrid – Warsaw (3 days/week in-office from late 2025). Until our Warsaw office opens (target: Q4 2025), the role will be remote with periodic in person team meetings. Once operational, we expect team members to be present in the  Warsaw office to foster collaboration, speed, and shared ownership. 

Travel requirements: Expected to travel to London once per month.

We have achieved  product-market-fit and are in hyperscale mode. Our mission is to make sustainability  data actionable; enabling organizations to navigate complex regulatory requirements,  enhance operational efficiency, and drive measurable impact. Our business is founded  and led by two Harvard MBAs with backgrounds in McKinsey consulting and Private  Equity investing and operating. The team is led with a sense of urgency and laser focus  on business impact.

The Role

We are looking for a Director of Product & Technology that can think in outcomes and  ship code, by leading our product and engineering teams. You will tie engineering efforts to user outcomes and business goals and manage senior  engineers and product owners. You’ll work closely with the founders on turning the  product vision into roadmap priorities and technical architecture.This is a rare opportunity for a high-agency leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-trust environment and wants to build a category-defining, compliance-driven product.

What You'll Do

• Combined leadership of product and engineering teams 

• Set the long-term product and technical strategy in close collaboration with the leadership team 

• Lead roadmap prioritization, feature development and release planning

• Stay hands-on: build and ship features and enable your team through code reviews 

• Champion best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps

• Adopt and experiment with AI productivity tools; 

• Serve as connective tissue between business goals, customer needs and technical  execution

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading both product and engineering teams in a high-growth SaaS  environment

• Solid expertise in TypeScript, ideally full-stack (Node + React)

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and cloud platforms (we use AWS)

• Ability to thrive in ambiguity, make decisive calls, and drive outcomes

• Natural collaborator and communicator - able to zoom out on vision and zoom in on detail

• Fast, focused, and excited by the opportunity to build something that matters

Technology:

• Frontend – React and Next.Js driving code modularity and development speed.  TypeScript and Jest for e2e testing.

• Backend – TypeScript and Node.js web to build APIs quicky with full control over  routing, middleware and request handling.

• Infrastructure – AWS infrastructure as a code, enriched with Amazon Bedrock for AI  enablement.

• Database – Amazon RDS with PostgreSQL.

• CI/CD pipeline: Github actions drive safe and automated deployments with fast  feedback.

• Developer AI tooling: Claude, ChatGPT for research, code debugging and code  review. Github Copilot accelerates coding and reduce developer context switching and  focus on problem solving.
