DevOps Engineer with Java

About the Role: As a DevOps Engineer, you will manage incidents to resolution, demonstrating ownership of all aspects of the incident resolution process. You will actively lead the resolution team and exceed customer expectations when delivering the service.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using Jenkins.

Automation: Create and maintain automation scripts using Ansible to deploy applications across environments.

Collaboration: Work closely with Software Development and Support teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Actively monitor systems for performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the stability of services.

Documentation: Document all processes, including KEDB and changes made for future reference.

Stay Updated: Stay motivated to upskill and keep pace with industry standards to ensure processes are updated and efficient.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Java.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Jenkins for CI/CD.
- Proven skills in Ansible automation.
- Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to learn and support.
- Nice to have: Basic understanding of application security development and implementation (OAuth/OpenAM).
Additional Information:
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and Terraform would be an advantage.
- The DevOps Engineer will be part of the SRE team and, after knowledge transfer, should be able to support afternoon shifts (14:00-22:00 for 2 weeks during the month or fully if agreed) and 2 weekend shifts per month.
