Azure DevOps / Cloud Engineering Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure DevOps / Cloud Engineer who thrives at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, automation, and secure application delivery. This role is designed for an experienced engineer who can take technical ownership, work closely with architects and developers, and deliver scalable, compliant solutions in a complex enterprise environment.

You will play a key role in shaping and evolving cloud-native platforms, building robust infrastructure pipelines, and enabling modern application development using Microsoft Azure and DevOps best practices.

What you will be responsible for

• Acting as a technical authority and subject-matter expert, designing automated, cloud-based solutions for complex engineering challenges.

• Designing, deploying, and supporting custom-built applications in Azure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

• Building and maintaining Azure infrastructure components, including Virtual Machines, images, VNets, subnets, private endpoints, and storage services.

• Developing and deploying Python-based workloads using Azure Functions.

• Creating and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using tools such as ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.

• Implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, enabling repeatable and reliable deployments.

• Integrating monitoring, logging, and diagnostics using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.

• Contributing to AI-enabled solutions, including integrations with Azure AI services and Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Ensuring all solutions align with enterprise governance, security standards, SDLC controls, and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborating closely with architects and development teams to extend and improve existing cloud architectures.

• Producing clear, maintainable documentation and effectively communicating technical designs to both engineers and stakeholders.

• Proactively identifying risks, weaknesses, and improvement areas across technology, processes, and controls.

• Troubleshooting complex deployment and infrastructure issues and proposing scalable, secure resolutions.

• Supporting initiatives that raise cybersecurity awareness and promote secure-by-design engineering practices across the organization.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in a large-scale enterprise environment, ideally in roles such as DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Security Engineer.

• Deep, hands-on expertise in at least one major cloud platform, with strong preference for Microsoft Azure (experience with AWS or GCP is also valuable).

• Advanced knowledge of Azure App Services, Virtual Machines, and Azure Storage.

• Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, and/or Terraform.

• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for modern software delivery.

• Ability to operate confidently in regulated environments, balancing speed, security, and compliance.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and the ability to work effectively with distributed, cross-functional teams.
