Andersen, an international IT company, invites a System Engineer (DevOps) to work on a large-scale project in the field of Banking.
The customer is the leading financial services provider in North Europe. It provides a full range of financial services, including investment banking, private banking, fund management, bancassurance, stockbroking and trustee services. The bank serves its clients via a national network of 44 branches. It also offers Internet banking, mobile banking and telephone banking.
The project is the transformation of the bank itself, where the key aspect is the configuration of internal processes and infrastructure. The new candidate will have the opportunity to work on optimizing development processes and driving automation, ensuring the reliability and scalability of the client's infrastructure.
Technology stack: MS Azure, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Python, PowerShell/Bash, Azure Repos/GitLab.
Responsibilities:
- Building scalable, highly available, secure, and cost-optimized infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Leveraging Version Control Systems such as GitLab and Azure Repos for secure storage and versioning of source code.
- Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines on platforms like Azure DevOps and GitLab while following best practices.
- Сollaborating with the Engineers to assist them with troubleshooting and optimizing their pipelines.
- Provisioning and orchestrating container workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
- Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to seamlessly deploy infrastructure resources.
- Developing scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Producing comprehensive technical documentation.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a System Engineer (DevOps) for 5+ years.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience in setting up and administering the self-hosted version of the GitLab platform.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency with Version Control Systems, specifically GitLab and Azure Repos.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Proficient in using IaC tools, particularly Terraform.
- Skilled in scripting with languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Solid grasp of basic network, security, and software development concepts.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external teams.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in provisioning, maintaining and extending AKS clusters.
- Experience in Configuration Management using Ansible.
- Experience in management of Windows and Linux infrastructure.
- Change Management experience in a regulated environment.
- IT Certifications in Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes (Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
