System Administrator (Azure)
Andersen is hiring a System Administrator (Azure) to support a hybrid Azure and Windows infrastructure, ensuring stable operations, rapid incident resolution, and high service availability.
The customer is a prominent international company specializing in real estate investments and development, focusing on commercial properties like shopping centers. Operating across Central and Eastern Europe, it is known for strategic acquisitions, expansion, and innovation in property management. The company uses advanced technologies to optimize operations and enhance customer experiences, ensuring long-term value across its assets.
The project is focused on supporting a hybrid Microsoft Azure and Windows infrastructure environment. The primary responsibility is to manage system operations, ensure quick identification and resolution of failures, and restore service availability through an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities:
Providing on-call support, including incident detection, troubleshooting, and service restoration.
Managing Microsoft Azure administration tasks, including access and permissions management (RBAC) and application registrations.
Administering Windows Server environments, including diagnosing system and service issues, manual service management, and recovery.
Handling updates, packages, and debugging within the Windows Server environment.
Analyzing logs and incidents using Azure Data Explorer (ADX), Azure logs, and Windows logs.
Performing backup and restoring operations in both Azure and Windows environments.
Communicating with Microsoft technical support (creating cases, diagnostics, and follow-ups).
Must-haves:
Experience as a System Administrator / Azure Administrator for 4+ years.
Strong hands-on experience within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Azure (RBAC, App Registrations).
Proficiency in Windows Server administration (GUI-based).
Experience with Azure Data Explorer (logs and metrics analysis).
Experience in on-call support, incident detection, and service restoration.
Proven ability to perform manual recovery and restore services.
Experience with backup and restore procedures.
Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice-to-haves:
General understanding of DevOps concepts in Microsoft environments.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Azure monitoring and alerting tooling.
Knowledge of Lifecycle Services (LCS) or Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC).
