SysOps Engineer

Andersen is hiring a SysOps Engineer to manage and support infrastructure and cloud environments, ensuring system reliability, security, and stable delivery across projects.

Responsibilities:

- Managing, monitoring, and maintaining server infrastructure, virtual machines, and cloud environments.

- Configuring and supporting CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and environmental automation.

- Ensuring system reliability, availability, backup processes, and disaster recovery readiness.

- Monitoring system performance, investigating incidents, and resolving infrastructure-related issues.

- Managing user access, security controls, and compliance configurations.

- Maintaining documentation for environments, configurations, and operational procedures.

- Collaborating with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure stable delivery and infrastructure consistency.

Must-haves:

- Experience as a SysOps Engineer for 3+ years.

- Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server administration.

- Solid experience with Configuration Management tools (e.g. Ansible,Chef, Puppet).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including provisioning, monitoring, and resource optimization.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

- Understanding of networking basics: DNS, VPN, routing, firewalls, load balancing.

- Experience working with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, or similar).

- Knowledge of scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python) for automation tasks.

- Experience with backup strategies, incident management, and performance tuning.

- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

- Cloud certifications such as Azure or AWS.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Level of German – from Pre-Intermediate and above.
