Senior ServiceNow Developer

Andersen is hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer in the EU for a global mobility tech company. The role focuses on enhancing the ServiceNow platform, automating workflows, and building integrations. 

The customer is a global engineering and technology partner working across the mobility and industrial sectors. The company develops advanced software and system solutions for vehicles, powertrains, and emerging digital mobility services. With international teams and strong expertise in both hardware and software, it focuses on sustainable technologies, including electric mobility and intelligent automated systems. 

The project is focused on enhancing and supporting a ServiceNow platform with an emphasis on automation, complex workflows, and REST integrations, while expanding functionality in areas like AI, Workspace Management, and asset/process optimization. 

Responsibilities: 

• Configuring, customizing, and enhancing the ServiceNow platform according to business requirements. 

• Developing and supporting custom applications, workflows, scripts, and integrations. 

• Ensuring proper functioning and performance of Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB.

• Providing technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to ServiceNow modules. 

• Managing platform upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities. 

• Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for service operations. 

• Documenting technical solutions, configurations, and support procedures. 

• Leading and supporting junior developers during implementation of complex solutions and customizations. 

• Advising stakeholders on multiple possible technical approaches, outlining pros, cons, and impact on the overall platform. 

Must-haves: 

• Experience with ServiceNow for 5+ years. 

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB. 

• Ability to design, configure, and implement custom workflows, forms, and UI policies. 

• Experience in developing and maintaining ServiceNow integrations with other systems (via REST/SOAP, MID server, APIs). 

• CAD (Certified Application Developer) and/or CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist). 

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Service Portal development. 

• Experience with ServiceNow modules administration, upgrades, and platform maintenance. 

• Ability to create and manage reports, dashboards, and performance analytics. 

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

• Ability to guide and mentor junior developers, reviewing and supporting their implementation work. 

• Good communication skills for working with stakeholders, business users, and technical teams. 

• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above. 

Nice-to-haves: 

• Background in IT Operations. 

• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
