Andersen is hiring a SAP Developer in the EU for a project with a German company. The role focuses on customizing SAP HCM modules in line with German labor laws and supporting HR and payroll system improvements.

The customer is a global leader in SAP-based HR and payroll solutions, operating in over 42 countries with more than 4,200 employees. With over four decades of experience and involvement in more than 1,500 SAP implementations, the company provides advanced, customized systems for both public and private sector organizations. It specializes in SAP S/4HANA migrations, cloud and on-premise solutions, and offers proprietary tools to enhance productivity and compliance.

The project is focused on supporting and customizing SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, Time Management, Payroll-DE) in alignment with German labor law requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Configuring and maintaining SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, Time Management, PY-DE).

  • Adapting solutions to meet client requirements in compliance with German legislation.

  • Participating in the full implementation cycle: requirements analysis, configuration, testing, and go-live.

  • Integrating SAP HCM with internal and external systems.

  • Preparing documentation, conducting demonstrations, and delivering training sessions.

  • Attending client meetings and supporting the productive system.

Must-haves:

  • Experience working with SAP HCM, including Payroll for Germany (PY-DE) for 3+ years.

  • Solid knowledge of PA/OM modules and German payroll processing.

  • Experience interacting with end users and multicultural teams.

  • Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a results-oriented mindset.

  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate.

  • Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or S/4HANA HCM.
