QA Engineer with Spanish/Portuguese

Andersen is hiring a QA Engineer with Spanish/Portuguese to ensure quality of insurance system integrations, validating APIs and data exchange for seamless claims processing. 

The customer is a large international organization operating in the insurance and risk protection domain, providing a wide range of services for both individual and corporate clients. The customer has a strong global presence, delivers diversified insurance solutions across multiple lines of business, and is known for its mature operational model, financial stability, and well-established expertise in service delivery and claims management. 

The project is focused on integrating an external claim management system with an internal insurance platform. It involves designing the integration architecture and implementing APIs and backend services to ensure reliable data exchange and seamless claims processing. 

Responsibilities: 

• Testing backend APIs and system integrations. 

• Validating request/response contracts and ensuring API compliance. 

• Creating and maintaining test cases and test plans. 

• Executing end-to-end testing across integrated systems. 

• Tracking and managing defects in Jira. 

• Validating data directly in databases. 

• Gathering and clarifying business requirements with stakeholders. 

• Translating requirements into clear user stories. 

• Supporting developers with functional clarifications during implementation. 

• Validating delivered functionality against business needs. 

• Participating in acceptance testing and release validation. 

Must-haves: 

• Experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role for 3+ years. 

• Experience in backend/API testing. 

• Hands-on experience with Playwright. 

• Strong knowledge of Postman or Swagger. 

• Solid knowledge of SQL and database validation. 

• Experience writing structured test documentation (test cases, test plans, etc.). 

• Strong communication skills and experience working with stakeholders. 

• Good understanding of Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban). 

• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above. 

• Level of Spanish/Portuguese – from Upper-Intermediate and above. 

Nice-to-haves: 

• Experience in business analysis, including gathering and clarifying business requirements. 

• Insurance domain experience. 

• Integration and automation testing experience.
