QA Engineer

Andersen seeks a QA Engineer to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, working with the engineering team to conduct thorough testing and drive continuous improvements.

The customer is a large international organization delivering live events and premium digital content to a global audience. It operates its own multi-platform streaming service, manages high-load ticketing and access control systems, and supports complex on-site operations with strict reliability and security requirements. The company is actively modernizing its hybrid cloud infrastructure and data platforms to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience.

The project is focused on embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle, working closely with the engineering team to ensure thorough testing, advocate for quality at every stage, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Promoting best practices in quality assurance, collaborating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and risks are managed.

• Designing and executing functional, integration, and performance tests, validating that new features and core journeys work as intended.

• Contributing to automation strategies and shift-left practices, helping to streamline testing and accelerate delivery.

• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, communicating findings clearly and constructively to both vendor and client teams.

• Identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and documentation, supporting a culture of innovation and learning.

Must-haves:

• Experience as a QA Engineer for 2+ years.

• Proven experience in software testing across multiple phases (unit, integration, UAT, performance).

• Strong understanding of automation frameworks and modern QA methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, distributed teams.

• Experience working as a QA Engineer in Agile environments.

• Strong understanding of quality engineering and test automation approaches.

• Experience working with CI/CD.

• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.

• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
