QA Automation Engineer (Python)

Andersen is hiring a QA Automation Engineer (Python) to test and automate a fintech platform, supporting website redesign and feature delivery across web and mobile. 

The customer is a global technology-driven company in the online financial services domain, building scalable and secure platforms that provide real-time market access to a large user base. The organization focuses on cloud infrastructure, mobile and web applications, API integrations, and data-intensive systems to ensure high performance and regulatory compliance in a fast-evolving fintech environment. 

The project is focused on redesigning the client’s website and then implementing new features and enhancements across both web and mobile applications. It also involves strengthening the client-side teams to support ongoing development and ensure a smooth rollout of the updated digital experience. 

Responsibilities: 

• Writing and maintaining automated test cases for web and mobile applications.  

• Structuring and organizing test cases in TestRail, with clear linkage to automated executions.  

• Running and debugging tests locally using Dockerized environments.  

• Using Selenium, Appium for functional and performance testing.  

• Leveraging AI-assisted tools to boost test development and coverage.  

• Integrating tests into our Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for fast, automated feedback.  

• Collaborating with developers and manual testers to automate repetitive scenarios.  

• Supporting test data setup and ensuring stable, consistent test environments. 

Must-haves: 

• Experience as a QA Automation Engineer (Python) for 3+ years. 

• Familiarity with QA principles and a genuine interest in automation testing.  

• Experience with Git or any other version control.  

• Strong experience working with tools like Selenium and Appium.  

• Comfort working with Linux environments (Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc.).  

• Problem-solving mindset, strong attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.  

• A collaborative approach and passion for improving software quality. 

• Level of English – from Intermidiate+ and above. 

Nice-to-haves: 

• Exposure to Jenkins and Docker.
