Product Manager

Andersen is hiring a Product Manager to lead delivery and improvement of client-facing web solutions, working closely with teams and stakeholders to ensure successful launches and ongoing product growth. 

The customer is a company specializing in high-performance digital solutions. It offers services such as full-stack development, speed optimization, AI strategy, and composable commerce. The company has completed over 100 successful digital transformations for industry leaders. It has revolutionized digital commerce with their API-first, microservices-driven architecture. 

The project is focused on delivering and maintaining client-facing web applications and technology solutions. It involves close collaboration with development teams and stakeholders to drive implementations, ensure smooth go-lives, and support ongoing improvements of live systems. 

Responsibilities: 

• Managing and leading a fast paced agile development process in close collaboration with a diverse engineering and design team.

• Working directly with external partners and clients to lead and deliver projects aimed at modernizing and transforming their websites to meet business objectives.

• Organizing and overseeing large or complex projects in a dynamic environment, including managing scope, schedules, and budgets.

• Collaborating with the Engineering team to break down product scope, gather estimates, and develop delivery plans and proposals.

• Balancing big picture thinking with strong attention to detail to effectively manage both overall project delivery and specific product requirements.

• Taking ownership of project success by performing any necessary tasks, such as preparing QA plans or identifying the root cause of client issues and frustrations.

• Demonstrating sufficient technical understanding to challenge engineers, propose solutions to technical problems, and facilitate technical discussions.

• Continually seeking to improve product development processes and contribute to overall team efficiency and quality.

Must-haves: 

• Experience in Agile Software development as a Project, Product or Program for 3+ years.

• Strong knowledge and experience in software delivery, methodologies, and associated tools: Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Jira.

• Experience in all phases of software development including product discovery, software delivery, testing, launch, and post launch life cycles.

• Client facing digital product delivery experience which includes requirements gathering, creating and managing a backlog of priorities, and user story writing.

• Experience gathering business and functional requirements with involved teams (including external partners) then managing prioritization throughout the process in iterative software development environments.

• Experience working with technical resources to estimate scope and creating accurate project timelines and resource estimates for project planning.

• A passion to deliver on time and the personality to overcome any obstacle, associated to the ability to work individually or as part of a team.

• Strong problem solving skills.

• Hands on experience with Web Analytics Tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tag Managers, etc).

• Ability to coach other product managers on the team.

• Experience with AI tools and concepts.

• Level of English – from Upper Intermediate and above.

Nice to haves: 

• Experience working with technical teams on modern web technology stacks such as React, Next.JS, JavaScript, and NodeJS.

• Experience with E commerce businesses, platforms, and technology.

• Fundamentals in computer science, computer networking, network security, and software development.

• Certifications in Scrum / Agile / Product / Project management.
