The IT-company Andersen invites an experienced Java Developer to work on a large-scale project for one of our customers based in the USA.
The customer is a consulting firm specializing in Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, particularly focusing on compensation management. With over 20 years of experience, the company has become an expert in interpreting complex business requirements and delivering value-based solutions. It is exploring the use of generative artificial intelligence to fully automate processes and ensure continuous improvement.
The project is an app that assists users in creating the reports they need, making it easier to work with data.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and improving Java software, including writing clean and efficient code.
- Participating in designing application architecture, choosing technologies and tools.
- Analyzing and resolving complex technical problems and bugs.
- Conducting code reviews, helping to improve the quality of other developers' code.
- Working closely with testing, design, and project management teams.
- Analyzing application performance and implementing improvements.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including architecture and specifications.
- Participating in sprint planning, daily meetings and retrospectives.
Must-haves:
- Experience with Java for 3+ years.
- Knowledge and hands on experience with Java JDBC API.
- Experience with resources management in Java.
- Working with transactions and commit strategies.
- Good experience with SQL language.
- OWASP knowledge.
- Familiarity with Groovy language.
- Experience with Spring.
- Strive to produce well written code.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, innovative mindset.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice-to-haves:
- SAP HANA database experience.
