Full Stack Developer (Python + React) with German

Andersen is hiring a Full Stack Developer (Python + React) with German for a project building scalable platform that supports sourcing, procurement, order management, and logistics operations. 

The customer is a company operating in the supply chain and operations domain, providing comprehensive support for businesses with complex workflows and international activities. It focuses on coordinating processes, improving visibility, and enhancing efficiency across different stages of operations. Working in a B2B environment, the company delivers flexible and scalable solutions, leveraging industry experience and partner collaboration to optimize processes and support business performance. 

The project is part of a portfolio of internal digital products for an international company operating in the supply chain and logistics domain. The focus is on building and enhancing scalable platforms that support key business processes such as sourcing, procurement coordination, order management, and international freight operations. 

 Responsibilities: 

- Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Python with an API-oriented architecture. 

- Developing and maintaining corresponding frontend components using JavaScript to create seamless user experiences. 

- Ensuring clean and efficient integration between backend APIs and the frontend interface. 

- Integrating internal and external systems relevant to sourcing, order management, and freight coordination. 

- Contributing to the overall software architecture, ensuring it is modern, scalable, and maintainable. 

- Managing the full software lifecycle using CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. 

- Implementing and maintaining application monitoring and error handling to ensure system reliability and performance. 

- Working within a structured GitHub/GitLab workflow, adhering to clear quality standards (code reviews, branching strategies). 

- Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code. 

- Participating in structured change management processes to ensure stability. 

- Proactively identify areas for improvement in the codebase or processes. 

 Must-have: 

- Experience in software development with a strong focus on Python for 5+ years. 

- Expert proficiency in Python and experience with modern JavaScript (React). 

- Strong experience with modern API frameworks: FastAPI / Django / Flask. 

- Deep understanding of REST API design, versioning, and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger). 

- Experience in clean integration between backend and frontend components. 

- Experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL). 

- Confident use of Git and GitHub/GitLab (branching strategies, PRs, code review processes). 

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for automated testing and deployments. 

- Familiarity with cloud platforms. 

- Automated deployments, monitoring and error handling, structured change management. 

- Become productive quickly. 

- Independently familiarize themselves with existing systems and structures. 

- Solve tasks autonomously. 

- Work in an environment where tasks are not specified in every detail. 

- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above. 

- Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
