Flutter Developer

Andersen is hiring a Flutter Developer to build medical imaging software, enhancing diagnostics, data processing, and user-focused tools that support accurate clinical decisions. 

The customer is a global medical technology company that develops advanced imaging systems and AI-powered software for clinicians. With decades of experience, it supports healthcare professionals in early detection, improving diagnostic accuracy, and streamlining clinical documentation. Its solutions combine high-quality hardware, intelligent analytics, and secure data management to optimize everyday workflows worldwide. 

The project is centered on developing and evolving medical software for skin imaging and early detection of cancer and other conditions. The initiative combines advanced diagnostics, data processing, and user-focused tools to support healthcare professionals in making accurate and timely decisions. 

Responsibilities: 

• Designing the end-to-end hybrid system architecture. 

• Defining modular boundaries, APIs, and data ownership. 

• Shaping the migration roadmap from on-prem to cloud, guidance and coordination with development teams (cloud, application, infrastructure). 

• Aligning product, engineering, and regulatory stakeholders. 

• Supporting architecture documentation and decision making. 

Must-haves: 

• Practical experience in developing mobile apps with Flutter for 4+ years. 

• Proven published applications. 

• Strong knowledge of Dart and Flutter tools. 

• Experience with state management tools (e.g. Bloc or Provider). 

• Familiar with REST APIs, camera APIs and third-party tools (e.g. Firebase). 

• Solid understanding of Android and iOS design guidelines. 

• Confident working with modern architectural patterns (e.g. MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture). 

• Experience with static code analysis, test-driven development and GitHub pull requests. 

• Familiar with modular project structures and clean architecture principles. 

• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above. 

Nice-to-haves: 

• Knowledge of German. 

• Knowledge of native languages (Kotlin and Swift) and build tools (Gradle & Xcode).
