Andersen is hiring a DevOps Engineer in the EU for a project developing a resource allocation system for emergency response, including tools for configuring resources and managing real-time dispatch operations.
The customer is a European technology provider delivering integrated software, hardware, and support services for mission-critical communication and control environments. Their solutions are used in public safety and industrial operations, ensuring reliable coordination and rapid response. With a focus on full lifecycle support and continuous innovation, the customer maintains long-term partnerships and consistently adapts its technology to evolving operational needs.
The project is focused on building a resource allocation system for emergency response. It includes an admin interface for configuring available resources and a Command & Control interface where dispatchers log incidents and mobilize the necessary services to handle each emergency efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Deploying, configuring, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
Configuring and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure and on-prem hybrid environments.
Managing and optimizing databases in production environments.
Implementing monitoring, observability, and log management solutions.
Automating operational processes using Bash and/or Ansible.
Ensuring network reliability, security, and efficient connectivity across environments.
Collaborating with backend, frontend, and QA teams to support smooth release cycles.
Must-haves:
Experience as a DevOps Engineer for 3+ years.
Proficiency in creating and maintaining Helm charts.
Experience working in both on-premise Kubernetes.
Strong experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting).
Hands-on experience with Rancher and/or (Open)Lens.
Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD for pipeline development and release automation.
Knowledge of ArgoCD for GitOps workflows.
Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
Experience working with relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL/Oracle).
Practical experience with ELK stack for logging and monitoring.
Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation tasks.
Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience working in AWS or Azure cloud environments.
Docker containerization experience.
Familiarity with Testkube for test orchestration in Kubernetes.
