Job description

Andersen is hiring a Business/System Analyst in Germany to join international projects, driving requirements and collaboration within modern tech environments across diverse global industries.

Responsibilities: 

  • Gathering, analyzing, and formalizing business requirements for mobile applications (iOS, Android, HarmonyOS) and a web-based admin panel. 

  • Developing functional and technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. 

  • Modeling business processes and user flows (BPMN, UML). 

  • Documenting integrations and system architecture requirements (mobile application, admin panel, API, microservices, databases). 

  • Collaborating with development, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams. 

  • Managing the product backlog and participating in release planning and roadmap definition. 

  • Preparing regulatory documentation and ensuring compliance with PCI DSS, GDPR, and PSD2. 

  • Analyzing risks, metrics, and implementation quality, and participating in testing and monitoring.  

Must-haves: 

  • Experience as a Business Analyst / System Analyst for 4+ years. 

  • Experience in Fintech / Banking / eCommerce / Healthcare domains. 

  • Experience integrating banking and third-party systems (SWIFT, ERP, and similar platforms). 

  • Hands-on experience with microservice architectures, API-first approaches, and REST / gRPC / event-driven systems. 

  • Experience working with SQL / NoSQL databases. 

  • Skills in business process modeling and documentation: BPMN, UML, BRD / FSD / SRS, and user stories. 

  • Knowledge of Agile / Scrum / Kanban methodologies. 

  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, and Excel. 

  • Understanding DevOps processes and infrastructure, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. 

  • Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, system mindset, and attention to security and regulatory requirements. 

  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above. 

  • Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above. 

Nice to haves: 

  • Experience in system analysis. 

  • Experience in analyzing and documenting complex banking processes and integrations. 

  • Strong knowledge of banking products and processes: cards, accounts, loans, payments, transfers, card and wallet tokenization.
