AmRest, a multi-brand restaurant operator with a strong presence in Europe and China, invites you to be part of our team. Since 1993, we have been developing a portfolio of excellent brands, including KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Starbucks, La Tagliatella, and Sushi Shop. Due to new challenges, we are currently seeking an IT Product Owner for eCommerce Platform POS (point of sale) integrations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing existing and building new major digital solutions in collaboration with other departments and vendors.
Your Responsibilities:
- Specifying long-term vision of products, establishing a roadmap for each year,
- Creating and managing the product backlog in close collaboration with Business Owner and development team,
- Prioritizing backlog items in accordance with business needs, clearly communicating which items are the most important in each iteration,
- Running Scrum events (daily, planning, review, demo) thus setting a routine for the team and business partners,
- Acting as a liaison between development team and business, making sure business goals are well translated into technical items,
- Managing release process for the applications,
- Occasionally helping tester with the application testing.
Your Experience and Skills:
- University degree (Information Technology degree will be an asset),
- Experience in working within software development team,
- Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle (Scrum, Kanban),
- Solid technological background,
- Good knowledge of SQL,
- Experience with REST APIs,
- Familiarity with backlog and release management tools (knowledge of Azure DevOps will be a strong asset),
- Enthusiasm for innovative technologies,
- Fluency in English and Polish,
- Excellent communication skills,
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment,
- Experience in similar role will be an asset.
